Admin Mk2Jo Posted October 18, 2007 Admin Report Posted October 18, 2007 It seems that Piper and Kent have cornered the market with the OSF fraternity .... so, out of interest ... what cam do you have and why did you go for that one??
Admin Vista Posted October 18, 2007 Admin Report Posted October 18, 2007 Kent RL31, recommended by engine builder as being what I wanted when I described my needs. i.e. Good power output without needing enormous revs, and plenty of low down torque. Here's the figures it produced at the wheels (with other mods obviously) 3000rpm 80bhp 4000rpm 118bhp 5000rpm 148bhp 6000rpm 167bhp
SmokeEm Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Kent FR32 coz I actually wanted a Piper 285 as in my old Pinto's Mk2 Tina but couldn't get one quick enough so went for the FR32 instead. (Similar spec)

BaileyMex Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 I've got a Kent 244, seemed to fit the bill with the engine that was being built
H.P.E harry Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 I know we have used a two or three in mine, the piper cam came out the best.
