im pi**ed right off sell a vectra td with tax and test on ebay for 400 on a n-reg,i think nice one,winning bidder turn's up fo**ing russian and try's to threten me in to takeing 250 for it and if i dont he will leave me negey feed back,my answer was do what u like matey,the bare cheek of some people.

 

what ever i win on ebay or say il have at a price i never haggle or threten people,and i alway's honest when selling thing,s,the checky ba**ed said it's got rust on it,i said dint you read the listing some people,ort to f**koff back to their own country's,if they cant follow the rule's of the game.

ebay is full of tossers. I sold something recently. Buy it now. I didn't get any payment. I sent the invoice off. Nothing. Sent emails off. Nothing. Then two weeks later out of the blue I get payment, along with the message:

 

hi sorry i have took so long to pay, just got paid today, and do prefer to pay through paypal, thats the item paid now.. could you advise me wen the item is in the post for me thanks

 

So, they don't email or pay for two weeks, then want to know when I'm going to post it.... hmm... shall I wait two weeks?

id make them wait as well, the world if full of messer's and they seem to gather on ebay,but ebay doe's work well when thing's go smothely

I can sympathise with you here. When I first joined eBay, it was a great place to trade, you didn't think twice about people not turning up or paying. Now though, there seems to be nothing but timewasters on there.

 

I have given up with it now, I just can't be bothered. I would much rather put my stuff up for sale in a place like this (OSF).

 

eBay are just in it for the money now, they wont give a rub if you have a complaint about selling or buying... they just don't care!

ended up selling the car at a major loss (including losing £25 ebay fees) on another forum

i had a few tossers but i was an arse back when they were

 

one guy bought soemthing then sent it back saying it was bent and not in the condition he expected (refurbed not new duh!) so i refunded him but took off my ebay fees and he didnt complain.

 

sold my susuzki on ebay 2 weeks ago and was nothing but easy! he came and picked it up when he said he woudl and was adomant i took the 22p at the end of his bid

Mate it is usually the foreigners who fook you about on ebay, not saying there aint our home grown knobs aswell, just seems that on big things like cars its always the foreign idiots who bid in last few mins, and then phone you and can spkeak half a dozen words of english and then never turn up arrrrrghhhhh! had this with 3 cars on ebay!!!!!

 

Then the fookin knobs who win your stuff by bidding in last few mins, then ignore emails for a few weeks then have the cheek to ask you for another week until they get paid!!!! I mean WTF?????? If i have no money i don't bid on anything, common fookin sense!!!!!

 

One of my best mates had the worse one, he was selling his scoobyy on there, blokey won it for £2500, not wanting to appear racist but bloke was second generation pakistani with full on chavness, he turned up in a smokey old cavalier, pissed with 4 of his 'homies'

Now my mate is exactly the opposite to me 5ft tall and 2 stone wet with bricks in his pocket, he truly is one of the nicest and willing to help anyone sort of bloke you could imagine, nothing is to much trouble and he has helped me out no end of times, and this 'person' obviousley came down with a grand in his pocket expecting to intimidate him into selling it for that! went for a test drive and was shouting and screaming at him, and threatinig to do him over because he had driven 200 miles to look at this bag of crap (bearing in mind the fookin nonce had'nt even looked at it yet, jumped straight in for a test drive!) and all this went on for about 30 mins, with him refusing to give the keys back and really agressive behaviour, there was 4 of them and my 2 mates there, this knob must of thought easy pickings then after they finally realised he was standing up to them and the grand he probobly robbed of his nan was'nt going to get the car he hurled his last abuse and wheelpun of in the might chavalier .

My mate phoned me then after the adrenilin had stopped and was exremly shaken by the whole thing, understandably, I went straight up to see him and while i was there the idiot phoned back, where he had been jumping around in the car like a loony his phone had fallen out of his pocket in the car and was coming back to get it, This is a chance for payback i thought, I told him point out wich one it was and i'll smash the car windows with his head and if his mates are stupid enough to get involved after seeing what was gonna happen to him, chuck me my bat from the boot of the car! I was sooo pissed of with this pr*ck, what right did he have to intimidate my mate in that way , I HATE BULLIES WITH A PASSION! If there is 2 people who have a problem and they both want to solve it with fists then fair play, thats been the way forever, but as soon as something is one sided then thats not on BIG BIG TIME!

 

But anyway he did'nt want it as he was selling it from his parents house and did'nt want any comeback on them, understandable, but i hung around anyway to make sure there was no repeat, they drove back had a quick stare and fooked straight back off, Just as well really as i was so angry about what they had done to him i would of gone to town on them!

 

Just goes to show you really don't know who you are dealing with on ebay and inviting around to your house! Always make sure someone else is there with you, I usually get people to meet me down my garage now, A- thats my home turf and i know where the defensive tools are and B- I'd rather someone smash up my garage doors than have to worry about the house.

 

Saying all that though 99% of the folk i have met in person have been really nice people and have spent many an hour with them chewing the hay, usually about cars and the like but the 1% are the ones you need to be careful of!!!

i was there with lee ,couldn't belive what they were doing ,these sort of people give ebay a bad name ,i told them that ebay rules do say u should view before u buy,but they think they can bid at the last min and then drop the price ,dont think they even read the listing as all that they picked up on was what lee had put on the listing ,but they had no idea about this .

I sold a car on ebay. Crappy little Escort, couldn't get any sense out of the winning bidder. Eventually he replied and said his son must have bid on it instead and that he didn't want the car. I wa pi$$ed at this point. Then what made it worse is that he left me negative feedback saying that I was not to be trusted and not a good payer. It was my sodding car I was selling. ebay did sod all about it though so I've still got negative feedback on my account

I got bad feed back cos I sold a mk1 1.3 golf with full gti interior & brakes for £50 (bloody bargain) the guy never got back to me & then left me bad feedback saying I obviously wanted more for the car then I got & pulled out of the sale!! tinker lol!
