Hello all I thought I would stick a few pictures on of my goodwood green two door that was on the road a year ago doing all the events, I then chose to change the engine and it has snowballed, engine has been built by throbnozzel racing and the car is nearly back to bare metal

hopfully welding will start within the month, not much to do it has a nearly perfect shell, but still loads to do when back from paint.

you either love them or you hate them, I had just sold my last yank and it was a toss up between a mk1 lotus or a corsair, thought the corsair would be different, on the deck with cream lotus rims and a sorted lump with a barking set of 40's.

cheers Twinkle, are they all your motors in the pic, you are going the have to open a Ford dealership.

 

all been mine at one time and there are loads more i have had :mrgreen:

the capri and the twin cam have gone now but i still have the others and also another mk2 4 door, must update my sig :mrgreen:

Thanks Deltamal, my first car after passing my test was a Chesnut brown and bronze with a tan vinly roof and tan folding sunroof, fantastic car, I will see if I can find a pic.

its nice to see people restoring these. theyre not the most popular for some reason but once a few good ens are churned out itl inspire others.

Hi Vista, thanks mate but I have got more spares than you could shake a stick at at the moment, the blue one came with 30 years worth of spares, plus what I allready have, Ratman I will try to get some pics of the Estate on over the weekend

This was my Corsair estate as it came out of the barn in cambride, one owner the farmer, but what a mamouth welding task, once striped out and put on its side if it had not been one owner hand the history tax disc ect all from the same garage and been serviced by the same mechanic, I wold have scraped it 6 months worth of100_1444.jpg welding, more pictures later
