He luckily had some bloke with him who told the police that I punched my boss first. Now i'm out of a job and facing charges. Not fookin amused!

johnny_h Posted January 24, 2008 Author Report Posted January 24, 2008 Cheers ppl, he's been wanting me out for a long time because I won't lie to the customers like he asks to get more money out of them, I have no supervisor so communications broke down between us about a year ago. Yesterday it came to a head when he turned up on site with some other bloke and we ended up having a massive agument. I told him he was a w*nker and he just lashed out. The rest is history. I spent all day yesterday is gravesend nick and am on bail until 5th of frb pending further investigation because our stories don't match. I've never worked for such an nob.

Have they also charged you with a lesser charge like common assualt? - normal police ploy so you plead guilty to the lesser one. If it is ABH only (= an assault where significant injury has been caused to another, eg extensive bruising, cuts requiring medical treatment, broken teeth or psychiatric harm) get yourself a good brief mate Good luck! and hope u find another (better ) job soon...

Is there any other dirt you have on him? Yes, he owns and runs a HGV firm and regularly drives the trucks when anyone is off sick and he doesn't even have a hgv licence... That's just one thing. The bloke is a born liar and I've been told I'm not the first employee to knock him out! If it goes to crown court I'll make sure my solicitor knows everything I know.
