That was done as a private job at a ford dealer I do know someone local to me who does a full car respray for around £800 and thats doen in an oven. Thats just outside, if you want under the bonnet and inside done then its about £1000. They spray big amg Mercs and Bmw's there, so the finish is pretty good.

stephens_xpack Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 Had mine painted about 10-11 years ago now and with all the prep work which was back to metal and reaplce anything that needed it i.e, door, tailgate, both sills, two front fibresport wings and engine bay painted, both footwells repaired cost me £2300. Might sound alot but the work he done it was worth every penny. Still looks as good now. Like the other guy said depends on what sort of finish you want and how much prep work goes into it before the paint has even touched it.

shaun1.6ghia Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 haven't got it done it yet but been quoted. bare in mind my bodywork is pretty good and its not gonna be a bare metal and ive got vinyl roof (so less to do there) and im not doing under the bonnet. they said around £800 if i prep it, but im gettin lazy and want them to do more so they said about £1200ish. i dont wanna spend £300 for a monkey to spray it.
