i have stuck this in recommended insurance room

but i dont know how many of ya look in there?

i want a quote for a modified osf not "standard"

its all well + good telling them its standard till

you have to make a claim, or a clever policeman

knows what a set of 40's are + gives you grief :?

i can ring round + get a quote for about £150 by

lying. but someone must know who the cheapest

company is for modified quotes? please help chaps...

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Mine is modified (2.1, twin 48's, superlites) with agreed value of £6k via Performance Direct. Cost is £150 IIRC :thumbsup:

http://www.performancedirect.co.uk/

I went to them after a recommendation from Marky4 and they were the cheapest at the time I took out the policy (which is due for renewal shortly) :D

If its highly modified .. and you need a true agreed value then then you want to be talking to is Richard Egger .. agreed values and you can race the car too.

And unlike some insurance companies you'll get payed out if the worse come to the worse .. he dosnt do ' get out clauses'

http://www.richardeggerinsurance.co.uk/

He used to be Competition Car Insurance .. now we have all switched to richard direct

and to cap it all .. he rallies this

that'll be why mate, iv been driving for 5 years now. iv been told by a couple of people though, that if you buy and insure something cheap like a 1000cc fiat panda and insure your cortina as a second car it can work out cheaper for some bizzare reason.

might be worth lookin into, get a 1000cc bogger for £50 :wink:
