badchild Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 Its what the country needs though, the government is a disgrace for the amount of taxing they do, i say let the blockades come, if i had alorry id be doing the same. Im just back from new york and the petrol is the equivelent of about 50p a gallon and people are actually parking they're cars up and taking public transport because they think they are that hard done by!!!

It's cheap in the US by our standards, but it isn't that cheap it averages around $4.5 for a US gallon so roughly £2.20 for one of their gallons, works out to about £0.60 a litre.
lee_capri Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 i no what your all saying but im not bothed it dont matter how much the price of fuel is we still all have to buy it, im lucky this time it will only cost me about £20 diesel to get to the pod and back and £15 petrol to race, the price of fuel is terrable my firm's van take's between £90 to £100 aday and the firm i work for is loseing money hand over fist at the moment due to cost's and lack of work,
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 280 miles for me and 24 to the gallon tops. Even when the last blockades and protests were happening, I never saw any panic buying up here in Bradford. We'll have to have our own protest on the M23 when we go to Brighton. 100 OSF's doing 20mph blocking all three lanes will make the news!
