I think theres a few different types of bimmer driver.

There's those who appreciate the quality and engineering.

Those who need a reliable vehicle that will even when the mileage has piled up, will start and stop like it has only half the miles.

Those twunts who think that their status will be elevated when people see they have a BM (the same twunts who can't find the indicators ;))

Nearly 300ftlbs of torque and 190hp,

bmw's are great drift toys :twisted:, dad took a 5 35i sport round arena essex. also a 3 23i, also brilliant car :thumbsup: and i got a go round arena essex :D.

 

both cars died after a few days down the arena, but they were great.

 

we now have a 5 3i quite a modern shape, good too :thumbsup:

I like my 530 tourer, 5 speed, Fast, comfy as I have a 80mile round trip to work it needs to be, and a stereo better than I have in m house!!

Ian you should pop down and test drive the 535d mate - it is fooking awesome power 272 gee gee's and 520nm (20 more than the M5) of torque at 2000rpm!!! :D

Well I've had my daily driver for 8 years now and it's been a great car. You honestly couldn't run a Ford on what I've spent on it. Now done over 152k and it's still on the factory exhaust !

I'm very tempted to get an E39 M5 at the moment, thats a £60k+ car with a 400bhp 5.0 V8 for around £10k 8)

HEY nothing wrong with beemers.. We have 3 :mrgreen:

we have 320d estate auto which did 56mpg on the way to spa race circuit in belgium which is 600 miles from newcastle and with one tank of fuel!! Just mind it was on 0miles for a while :lol::lol:

 

A 1 series

 

A 318is road rally car

 

Also thinking about geting a E30 m3 and just lock it up in a garge on stands.

 

Nothing wrong with BMWs :thumbsup::D

do they have indicators or are they an optional extra?? :?

 

cos no fooker i ever see driving a BMW uses them!

If we got one we wouldnt put it on the road, just dry store it and sit it on stands. The price of them are going up at the min.
