What insurance companies to most people use? I'm struggling to get a quote under £300 for a mk1 rs2000. Is this about right for a 32yr old with 9yrs no claims? The car has a few mods but nothing spectacular

Try footman james, mine isn't much more than that for two cars on one policy, both with unlimited mileage and high agreed values (all mods declared and the escort has plenty)

My insurance company told me to get Classic Insurance as it would cheaper until I told them I need Fully Comp, Business cover with 30000 miles a year So £300 it is then

Whoa! I've been with them three years and my premium hasn't gone up a penny even though I've used their included breakdown recovery four times!
