Cookie Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 If you are towing a car,driving, using a dolly or a spec-lift you must have logbook, no logbook and they will not take it, IE- any wheels on floor going over bridge will NEED V5, if no wheels on floor no V5 , I've seen them argue until the bloke is blue in the face stone blank refusing to take accept it. On the other hand if no wheels are on the floor, flatbed,tipper or trailer etc you can take in what you like without a second thought, whatever it is, hence why you see most pikey hi-abs will have sides on, not just a flatbed cos anything of the side of the rd can be chucked in there in 2 mins and gone forever.
