7 yrs and not done........... Mind u emphasis has changed and it's now a road/race hybrid............. :ykt: i.e a foookin pain in the arse to drive in traffic.

5 years and £10k:

3 different engines, 2 different gearboxes, 3 different exhaust sytems, 2 different blowers, 3 different sets of carbs (plus 1 injection system), 2 different brake set-ups (and the third on the way), 2 methanol injection set-ups, 3 nitrous kits, a few pairs of rear tyres. Endless fun! :D

had mine just over a year and already had to replace the engine, if it wasnt for that it woulda been sprayed by now :roll:

well ive just started cutting some rust out of a 2.8i i got to do a cosworth conversion on, already its starting to look like beaksters project, the strut is rotten, inner wings rotten almost up to the bulkhead, its gona take longer than i 1st thought!!!!

Off the road for all the major work last october. back on again 6 months later.

 

Still stuff I want to do, but its all things that I could do with a couple of days here and there. :thumbsup:

i agree they are not ever really finished but i had no idea that it would take this long and every time i look at it i find some thing else i want to change but i am at the point where i just want to drive it :evil:

9 years to get it on the road but in the 3 years its been on the road i have been changing it so i dont think they are ever finished :roll:
