X-pack-Glyn Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Switch to old vauxhalls and you could save money
brettp Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 i have been looking at old vauxhalls i think they will be the next big thing the old ford popularity will put it out of most peoples price range still on the up side if they keep going up the way they are by 2040 my car will be worth what i have spent on it
john_3.0s Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 always fancied a manta or chevette its a good point tho, its getting to the stage where ppl (like me) are getting priced out the market
FredTransit Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Look on the bright side, most people's escorts will be worth more than their pensions!
brettp Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 one good thing is people are doing cars other than escorts because of the prices 100e s and fiesta mk1 s etc
MK1_Warnzee Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Ive got an XE powered Chevette, which me and my old man built last year. Its tonnes of fun, and cost a lot less to do than an Escort would have. Plus, as the car itself only cost me £120 im not that fussed about throwing it at the scenery. Dont think you could say that about an Escort! Its not as good looking as a mk1 Escort tho.
Gonzo Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 ...this is not making the decision to sell my tina any easier...
FredTransit Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 ...this is not making the decision to sell my tina any easier... Then don't. You will miss it, look for another one and either won't find one as good or that's affordable.
over_head_cam Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Don't let on, but I quite like oldskool Vauxhalls I always wanted a Firenza when I was younger
