dssean Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 work has been progressing quite well, both floors and chasis rails have been done as has n/s strutt top ,four link is in place but not fully welded yet, and roll cage finally turned up so i had to plop it in for a quick photo. it seems to be never ending welding at the moment .i cut out the previous repair to the o/s strutt top and have had to take the wing of to replace the under wing tower , while there i decided to look at the repair near the bonnet hinge to find the rust had just been welded over (obviously out of sight ,not on car kind of repair) it really pisses me of when you find these kind of lash ups that probably took as long to do as the proper job anyway i hope you enjoy the piccies sean

dssean Posted September 14, 2006 Author Report Posted September 14, 2006 thinkiing of painting it le mans green . going to do the engine to 2.1 possibly use HPE (does anyone have a number for them?) then later go cossie power as i already have head and turbo with manifolds for one. trying to sell my Evo 7 now as baby on way aswell as loft conversion being done AND my little escy!!! going to be an expensive year!! oh well another weekend of welding and then hopefully on to bodywork. thanks for the kind words sean
