DEP Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 Last year i went upto the pod for some practice before the final round of the OSFDC Anyway on one of the runs, i managed to select 5th intead of 3rd , yeah i know, Dont ask Anyway, in hope it might be fixable, KJ kindly took it apart, so we could assess the damage, This is what we found, needless to say i think its fooked

Its the fifth gear thats had it, I ve been told its a pig to get off They are but there is a special tool for the job,we used to rebuild them at my old works. I think burton sell the 5th gears as its common they break when taking the boxes apart without the correct tool. Might be worthlooking at getting it fixed as the rest of the box is prob ok.

The rest of the box is ok, as it was only rebuilt a year or so ago, But as i plan for more power at a later date, i would like to get something alot stronger.
