My mate bought a mk1 van a couple of years ago all pimped up with velour interior and shagpile carpet and port holes. It was red with a kind of ateam strip. It would have fitted in those pics a treat. I think it ended up in london

Those were the days! seriously. i hate being so young, id give anything to be born in the 60s in the uk, so i can buy a decent 2nd hand cortina as soon as i start driving and put a cosworth in it at the age of 30 =D

use to do the chelsea cruise in the early 80`s much the same style as the 70`s style then went to the drop the floor on the road style

Thats still around doing the show circuit in the same paint as all those years ago

Im sure the first version wasnt all fibreglass but the one he has now is purely glassfibre bodied made from scratch

The white Thames van is still about its now Black and has been for some time known as Mr Torqure , still loads of the old stuff about though sometimes having a makover..........good to see pics
