petrolhead Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 unbelievable, i hope heads roll. Sounds like Social Services need to get involved too. sorry to hear that, is the damage repairable?
chunkys mk1 Posted October 10, 2009 Author Report Posted October 10, 2009 from what i can see front panel, both front wings ,rear panel, slam panel are the main bits any idea who are best to use for panels if i repair it
Yeomans22 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 m8, that sounds like alot of damage, do not accept the car back from the insurance until, it is exactly mint again, and the father should be reported for that, if it a write off, then buy it back from the insurance and fix it up.
davreeve Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Thats terrible you must be proper gutted and more than a bit p****d off.I know i would be. Hope it works out ok for you in the end.
RossMK2 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 You muct be as gutted as can be im sure you'll be able to sort something
bigglesmk2 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 How fast could she have gone to do that
mk14dr Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Gutted. Don't, whatever you do, let the Insurance company take the car, and don't be bullied into using their bodyshop. You pay the premiums, you decide who does the work. Don't let them write it off either, everything is negotiable
FredTransit Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 like mk14dr said DO NOT LET THE INSURANCE CO TAKE THE CAR! You won't see it again. Gutted for you mate.
tom28 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 man im gutted for ya how can the father let her do it? and why don't they hang people these days?..
marky4 Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 gutted for you mate some people are unbelievable
Messenjah Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 because the accident wqs not your fault you have the right to have the car repaired to its pre accident condition regardless of cost ! get quotes from the ford dealers aswell as your prefered bodyshop including the cost of getting the car there and back mitchvilles do very good work .... speak to them.
Mk 1 Mark Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Gutted for you, your mind should be @ rest when your car is in your own garage... Then this happens......hope you get it sorted
over_head_cam Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Like everyone said, gutted for you mate. Some pricks shouldn't be allowed to breed eh
Lotus 300e Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Sorry to hear about it, ain't nothing safe in a garage nowadays.
herb capri Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 damnit if its not bad enough they banger good motors and laughabout it ,now they got to have a go at yours!!!! proper idiot.was he appologising or laughing? mike
Retromotorsport Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 as has been said, don't worry, as the insurance should fix it, and if anyone says " the garages arnt on the road" dosnt matter, any place that has public access is classed as a road, hence why you cant let an un-insured driver try driving a car in a carpark. And again, and I hope this is not the case you have, but 'cheap' insurance isnt always the best, there are companies out there that have a proven tack record of sorting cars, and fighting for you. And there are some that just write them off.
