yorkester Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 Just noticed the reg plate, if thats not "show only" its well cool.
rallyesport04 Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 stunning car not too sure on the bling rims tho
stuartp Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 actually thinking about it, i don't like the wheels, the rear arches, the mirrors or the front seats don't know anything about the engine but i'd personally rather it had a ford one in it i do like the colour and the quality and it's obviously a serious motor
RossMK2 Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 its orite i think think its one of those things that grows on you
Arrie Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 I've driven worse - I like it, not sure on the wheels - but being different, its what make it stand out from the rest.
Copey Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 i like it at least the wheels have a dish, unlike a lot of modern rims!
gpcmatric Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 Wheels are such an important part of a car and these just look crap!!!!
EscortHeadCase Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 Imagine if those were 17-18" x pack style 4 spokes.
caprinerd Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 each to there own wheels aint to my choice but then it aint my motor
ekjim Posted November 19, 2009 Author Report Posted November 19, 2009 I love the engine transplant, would love to up to the 2ltr nissan engine maybe with a next project if it happens! I wasnt expecting as many people to say they like it, personally, Im not 100% on the interior but other than that I like the idea Jim.
samurai Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 I like the fact that he/she has looked after the motor to keep it in top condition and they have not messed up the bodywork
ekjim Posted November 20, 2009 Author Report Posted November 20, 2009 Here is a pic of the car before it was silver... And a few from monday night, these stripes have just been added, really starting to like it jim.
stuartp Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 i reckon it it looked nicer in white (this coming from a man who chose an almost identical silver for his own mk1) or maybe it's just that i prefer the wheels it had on it then
Andrade Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 i reckon it it looked nicer in white (this coming from a man who chose an almost identical silver for his own mk1) or maybe it's just that i prefer the wheels it had on it then agreed. and isnt the front bubble a but too high?
bigglesmk2 Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Its marmite ... ...me no like marmite
l j shaw Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Lets hope he does something that will improve the car ...and soon
Billy_smith Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 i think it looks the bollox when it was white
RETRO_AL Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Wheels look far to big,not my cup of tea, put some 15inch on there would be a lot better
Michael Poulsen Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Damn that is one sweet ride. something similar is what i would like to put my consul trough, apart from the engine. Very very cool. defenetly dig the wheels. Good work
mk1mexico Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Looking again it looks like a life size 'modified' model that you sometimes see on Ebay
qwerty Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 I really like it. The Ozzy's really know how to build old cars with modern wheels!
Mr Sam Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 love that apart from the wheels they just look cheap and tacky ad dont see how they would look good on anything
fullbrek Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Talk about bling, doesn't look too bad with the DUB rims but the bodywork and colour are very nice. Aint too keen on the leather or the Nissan motor, was never a fan of crossbreeding, beleiving that a ford should have a ford motor. But thats just my opinion.
