but under the hood you changed the battery around :P

 

Yeah had that battery new laying around, found that it fitted with a few small mods lol, other than that its the same really :mrgreen:

brought late in 2004 i dont have any photos till i ve owned it for two years which ment it was 1600x-flow had an engine fire then went back on the road for classic ford 2006 if i remember right?

then by the end of 2006 it was off the road for body work :roll::evil:

then classic ford 2010 she makes her reaperance with 2.1 pinto and a fair bit of graft and parts with a big thanks to capri clive for all his help :thumbsup:

Love this thread, nothing like putting new life into an old ford. All I need to do now is get off my arse and get a decent job and do my own.

Yes that's a nasty hole in the wing, and the pics above were after a wash! Stuff was growing in the bed, and the greedy boards were rotting. After working on her all afternoon and well into the night (replacing the bumper, mirror head, wipers, one of the wheel nuts - where the fook did that go - and stripping the wood off the bed) I got this

Now I know that's not mint, but that wasn't the effect I was after. She's a working truck, and even in the 80s she would not be 100% minty fresh, so I left the rust on the bed alone. TBH I think the body's had it's day and it might be time to be looking for another pick up bed.
