Danmex Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Bloody hell, you must of really wanted that car, most people would of been crying re-shell when they saw that
mk1super Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 look on bright side it could have been worse erm how i dont know but could have!
Delotus Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Doesn't look too bad to me that. Tell me did you keep the original gear stick hole position? It's a bugger when you have to cut and relocate them. You should of seen the morris pickup i restored for a mate of mine, the only panel which is original is the center of the roof and the dashboard. Tim

DEP Posted September 20, 2006 Author Report Posted September 20, 2006 It was nt as bad as it looked , trust me. Unfortunatly i did nt have the tools or the knowledge to take on such a restoration, thats why the the car was entrusted to Alimax motorsport in Wales, Heres a couple of pics of the car shortly after it returned.
