Durham Fiesta Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 how devastated would you be if you put so much time effort and money into a car , then paying for somewhere to store it and that kinda thing happens
MK5 Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Oh m8 , how fookin lucky are you and how gutting for your mates Tis a sad day for the OSF"s........ haha, dude read the 1st part of my post! The cars aint nothing to do with me! Dont know whos they are or where! But yeah! Gutting for who ever owns them! they belong to a friend of mine who is devasted
Durham Fiesta Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 are all of them totally wrecked ie not repairable??
RFChris Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 are all of them totally wrecked ie not repairable?? I should imagine a re-shell is the only option for the lot of them. The heart-wrenching part is surely the insurance, or lack thereof. "Act of God" so no pay out.
Durham Fiesta Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 surely whoever owns the barn will be covered by insurance, so couldn't they claim off that?????
antz Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Oh m8 , how fookin lucky are you and how gutting for your mates Tis a sad day for the OSF"s........ haha, dude read the 1st part of my post! The cars aint nothing to do with me! Dont know whos they are or where! But yeah! Gutting for who ever owns them! they belong to a friend of mine who is devasted a mate of mine knows the owner of the surviving sierra. the only car that survived un-marked was teh sierra in teh pictures because it was on the right side of the barn that didnt collapse. the rest are write offs
atomic punk Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Holy Sh*t Act of God? Cant be, God wouldnt be that cruel
Twinkle Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Holy Sh*t Act of God? Cant be, God wouldnt be that cruel thats what they called it when my car got damaged and refused to pay out
orionmojo Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 christ! ad the 'kintractor cane out unscathed
steve dray Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Man, what a horrible sight, it's tragic Just prey they are insured at least, but that won't replace the empty feeling that will be left in their owners lives
johnny_h Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 I hate seeing OSF's covered up in barns never seeing light of day but to see them covered up and crushed with bricks is truly sickening...
Jelly Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Imagine spending years polishing your Cortina with a toothbrush (including underneath, even wheel hubs etc) and then that happening.. Mostly gutted over the Escort Cossy though.. £13k down the swanny I'd look at sueing the owner of the barn, personally
seanbob Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Seen it on another forum today, totally sickening and none of them are even mine
petrolhead01 Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 gutted for all those who lost there prides and joy!!! would have been alot easier to have them stolen than lose them in this way!!! hand of god? for fooks sake the insurance companies steel enough of us every year , they should have scheme like the un-insured losses company to pay out in such cases!!!! makes you wonder why having insurance for laid up cars is really worth the paper its printed on!!!! feel sick now >>>>>>>>>poor bastards!!
mr squidian Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 shiiitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
Admin Vista Posted January 24, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 24, 2007 Act of God my Arse!! How can they pull that shit?? Think about it, God does NOT make the weather so how can they blame him (or her for those of you who don't think he's a man (but he is really) for freak weather conditions Is a ship sunk in a storm an Act of God? No is it hell and they do pay out for that, why should there be any difference for this? If your roof comes off in a storm they pay out don't they? If there's any suggestion of them not paying out I'd take legal advice about sueing the insurance company. Bloody crooks, makes me so mad
