My new OSF - With a picture !!!!!

Here she is Guys & Gals.

 

She is a 1983 2.8 V6 (Carb) Auto Ghia X

 

77k from new with history to support. Champagne gold paint with Mocha Interior. Electric & heated seats, leccy windows, mirrors sunroof etc etc. Air con even works! She came with a folder full of bills and reciepts including a full unleaded head conversion & a recon auto box.

 

Picker her up Saturday from Mk2Dan in Dartford and she drove the 70 odd miles home effortlessly (I even got spotted by Marky4! on the A3)

 

 

As you can see, she has been hit with the lowering stick.... HARD! no namby pamby 50mm stuff here!

 

Also has 7x15 BBS copies fitted

 

TBH she doesn't need much to make perfect and it suits me down to the ground (Pardon the pun)

 

Jobs to do - One door doesn't unlock on the central locking.

                   Drivers door armrest needs new sponge as its saggy lol

                   Nearside inner wing needs painting as she had a battery explosion years ago

                   Engine bay spruce up - just tart her up a little

 

I know she won't be to everyones taste but me & MrsSmokeEm love it. Even my 17yr old daughter couldn't wait for a ride!

 

Hoping to make the Wingspan meet with her on Wednesday (After she has had a custom exhaust made by Longlife)

Oh yes, these are pure comfort,a proprly desirable car back in the day - damn sure I saw one in Lock Stock when I was watching it on Sat eve so added cool factor. Well done mate for keeping it real

nice one, i do love the mk 1/2 granny's. had a few in my time, one of them is still about, ( blue mk1 ghia tkj422r with a 351w small block ) owned by a bloke called mike ludlow over southend way. i used to pick them up for about 200 quid back then, nobody wanted them except the banger boys! how i wish i could have seen into the future and owned a barn!
