Feu Orange - can you put a price on nostalgia?

so....... been looking for an old skool feu orange original air freshener for the tina and found this:

I'm sure those of us of a 'certain age' (cough) will remember these and the great smell in an old Ford in the 70's. Feu Orange pong and the old mans Blue Stratos, a heady mix of 70's manly aroma lol.

 

Anyway, I couldn't resist buying two of these as they are rare as the proverbial. a lot of dosh for an air freshener but hey, its old skool!  

 

Am I mad or stupid? or perhaps both....

That's the one! the new ones are pants and don't really do the job for me.

And at least I saved a bit of dosh with the postage, two delivered for the price of one

I remember these in my mum and dads cars, by the time I was driving they weren't around!!!!

The smell made me car sick but everybody had them. Don't know about paying that much though! Haha

I remember them I didn't realise until I was older it was the air freshner that made that sent I thought it was the vinyl in the old mans 3 later mk1 Capri melting in the 70s sun. Good times

I used to work in a car spares place on Saturdays when I was at college in the late eighties early nineties . We had boxes of those !!!! I remember piercing them with a pin. Had one in my mk2 escort van !!!!

Wow! I'm the first one to say if I want something I'll get it irrespective of the price BUT, even Id think that was a bit expensive lol.

I remember stabbing the back of these to death just to get the smell out of them, I just ended up with smelly fingers (oh wrong story lol)
