lurch914 Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Think I'm gonna put mex stripes on the mex want to make it abit different there seems to be a few plain yellow ones about but haven't seen a yellow with white stripes before here's a few pics I've played with to get the idea what do you think
scootlife Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 It's good to be different. I used to have yellow rs2000 stripes on mine. Certainly stood out but sometimes you just want to blend in and not be noticed. I would stick to black. Or no stripes .
lurch914 Posted May 27, 2014 Author Report Posted May 27, 2014 Here's a picture of what it's like it was just the fact that if I didn't want them on I could take them off 1
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted May 27, 2014 Moderator Report Posted May 27, 2014 I do think stripes would look good on your yellow Mk1 but the white ones seems to get a bit lost on the yellow. Orange ones perhaps for something different? Traditional black would look good too.
macford Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Stripes,,,,, if you want to blend in. Buy a mondeo 2
Herr Doktor Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 I quite like the white stripes. They're a bit different whilst remaining relatively subtle and not "in your face". Unless of course, you want "in your face!"
lurch914 Posted May 27, 2014 Author Report Posted May 27, 2014 No don't want in your face just thought it was subtle and no one I've spoke to has seen a yellow with white stripes plus as they are only stickers they can be removed, did think of black but there's a few about
Admin Vista Posted May 27, 2014 Admin Report Posted May 27, 2014 Swedish cars had a yellow and blue option I think. I can't remember which way round the colours were arranged though.

Plus I get sent pics of international cars for the calendar each year. I'm sure last year's had a blue and yellow Swedish car in it
mexicansteve Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 The white stripe option is subtle and looks good.
Herr Doktor Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 Yeah. The more I look at it the more I like it
lurch914 Posted May 28, 2014 Author Report Posted May 28, 2014 Think you've all helped me make up my mind I'll update once I get it done

cdeane74 Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 I'd go silver to match ur wheels keep changing my harrier stripes/taking them off ,think it looks good with or without, but I reckon silver on yours would suit it
