I'm allergic to eggs.

As you were..

I've got a mate who, until his mid 20s thought it was a real egg inside chocolate. Shows the calibre of people I hang around with...

Lol. I don't like chocolate so don't eat them but it is true, I am highly allergic to real eggs no matter in what form. I have to be REAL careful eating something I didn't make myself!

that's cos the first one goes straight down without touching the sides (like the 1st pint on a hot day)lol. its not until the second or third that you really savour the taste and texture...mmm chhoocalaate.

That's funny, when I read that I thought you wrote you didn't like chocolate. Lol

Can't stand the stuff Mike. I can handle plain chocolate in extremely small doses but nothing else. I'd rather eat cat shit than a bar of dairy milk!

You're like my dog Dave. She can only handle plain chocolate in small doses. Unfortunately She ate a whole 250g bar on Christmas Day so we ended up at the emergency vet Christmas evening. Nice way to blow the best part of £200!

ok my wife told me off for saying/typing that so I need to state I am an animal lover and I worship my dog! (she still better not touch my chocolate though) :arnie:

You shouldn't give your dog chocolate mate, there is a caffeine type substance in it that can kill them. Dark chocolate it worse as it contains more cocoa than milk chocolate

It's surprising how many dog owners aren't aware how bad chocolate is for dogs

I know. It's called theobromine. I didn't give her chocolate. She found it in a bag and ate it hence us rushing to the vets on Christmas Day and forking out £200 to induce her to vomit. 250g to a dog her size is fatal if absorbed into the blood. Luckily we found the wrapper and realised and had her at the vets within 30 mins and she made a full recovery. Would have been the worst Christmas ever if we hadn't of discovered it till later.

You're right Scott there's lots that are potentially fatal. Onions, garlic, chocolate, raisins, cola, cooked bones to name a few.

Anyway, to get this back on topic, id rather eat proper dog chocolate than that Hershey's crap. Tastes very similar!
