JP. Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 That trailer is well thought. It has his own power supply, using an alternator fitted to the rear axle ( diff hub ) that charges his own battery. Have to say, its years ago this Capri has been seen. This one is thought to be made by the same German builder ( many moons ago ) Eventually sold to a tattoo artist in Holland and sold again. Few months back its sold again back to Germany and made into this .. . For those who wonder... its not a Bobcat. Its has the rear and roofline of a Opel Record station ( Van ) 1
khanlad Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Its not that bad in yellow, wheels fill the arches nice enough too

khanlad Posted March 28, 2015 Report Posted March 28, 2015 That is just a mk3 escort boot grafted onto a tina isnt it? why?
Danish Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 That is just a mk3 escort boot grafted onto a tina isnt it? why? To make it look like a Datsun Bluebird I presume I've seen the strech-limo and 4x4 Capri's for real - picking up a Mk3 wing many years ago, at a place full of bizarre Capri projects. 1
Admin Vista Posted March 29, 2015 Author Admin Report Posted March 29, 2015 That is just a mk3 escort boot grafted onto a tina isnt it? why? It is, and don't know in answer to your second question. It was done by a body shop In Ireland but I don't know when.
HotRodMatt Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 Been a bit quiet in this thread so I'll just leave these here... The white Escort is obviously an old pic but the silver Escort van was at the recent Van Nationals in Oz. 1

Danish Posted April 15, 2015 Report Posted April 15, 2015 Oh, yuck! What were they thinking with the exhausts? and no matter how well you weld up the back doors, 2-door doors are much bigger, so it always looks like a 4-door with welded doors.
deltamal Posted April 15, 2015 Report Posted April 15, 2015 Oh, yuck! What were they thinking with the exhausts? and no matter how well you weld up the back doors, 2-door doors are much bigger, so it always looks like a 4-door with welded doors. Great color though! 2
