If you can drive an old mechanical classic you can drive just about anything well. Modern fast road machines are all about computer aided everything so that self absorbed Japanese dentists with no driving skill can appear like they are race drivers. If there is the illusion that the older enthusiast couldnt drive somewhere fast its not due to their ability to drive the car but rather they wasted 90% journey time pairing the bluetooth and setting the satnav destination. Give em a map and a radio and their off!
