chrome door handles and the plastic silver windscreen inserts and gutter trims. i know its the fashion to black all the chrome but its not exactly a cheap car, and for that price i'd want the originality.

I like Anglia's (there I've said it!) my first car was an Anglia 1200 super, no idea what was Super about it, the seat was stopped from dropping onto the road by a piece of pine planking, it used so much oil I got a grant from Saudi, and it was an asbestosis hazard due to being built of mainly of filler.

 It taught me a lot, like checking tyre pressures because when an osr tyre blows due to under inflation on a fast left hander things go all squirrelly, it taught me that MOT's could be got over the phone, it taught me how to build an engine that didn't run as a two stroke, it taught me how to corner sideways, it taught me how to anticipate crap, because the brakes surely wouldn't help. It taught that when things went a bit wrong your ring could actually eat the vinyl seat covering, it taught me how to talk nicely to policeman........ I could go on, but I won't, I have a lot to thank Anglias for.

just read your thread col, i see you had a great time at ford fair too then, well im not biased if any old car looks good then id be the first to say so, just aslong as them crap green or orange focuses dont park next to me, metal and chrome for me not plastic and chavs.
