Give us some warning Dudes - i've been getting weird code all over the screen, can't access the site at all - it stressed me out thinking my PC was dying!

Is everything still around as a few hours ago I couldn't see anything older than about an hour before?

Sorry, it was added as an announcement on the forum more than 24 hours in advance though.

Bloody hell....

only just been able to get back into this.

Sorry to say the mobile version is not as user friendly as the old one. Let's hope I can live with it as AVO have updated there's and I've binned it off my saved tabs.

Oddly, I was thinking the mobile version is much more slick as I can do virtually everything on the new mobile version as I can on the desktop version, whereas with the old mobile version attachments and smilies were a non starter. It probably just takes a bit of getting used to.

Well I knew it wasn't my tech but have now definitely been made aware that I have an unhealthy addiction to this site

Is the "like" posts system able to return with the new updates? There is a box on the right that says "No one has a reputation this week". You know that's not true, there are quite a few that have a reputation around here every week! (You know who you are!) Shouldn't it be "dislikes" that give you a reputation though? lol

Speak of the devil. They suddenly went active minutes after my post.

God must be listening.

With it came a misty top header with cars for the site. It looks more they have gone to classic car heaven though if im honest, or the rings have gone on one of them! (You know which car it was of course)

So it was an alteration to the header !!! I've just spent half an hour cleaning my glasses !

Have you looked at this on a desktop or just from a mobile device? It looks quite good on a desktop as the cars move one way on a continual scroll while the mist moves the opposite way.

Mines on a mobile device, not tried on a desktop yet but can envisage the lead not been long enough to reach my garage plus with a tower under one arm the screen in the other how can I carry my CUPPA !!! Did try balancing a cup on my head but the abundance of hair made it fall off !.....lol

I only use a desk top. But It does have that heavenly look about it, like the cars have somehow passed to the next life. (Maybe its intentionally prophetic?) The mist isnt actually mist at all but an overlay of some astronomical nebula. As a film photographer Im not big on digital overlays but these things need a revamp to bring in new members all the same. There is something different though that I cant pinpoint that makes it harder or starker to peruse threads. Im not sure whether its something as simple as the font or what but its harder for my eyes to focus on reading. Hopefully it will come in time and its just a matter of getting used too.
