His sales description is no where near as good as mine, at least I was honest and didn't try passing it off as an RS. That alone tells you he is a little liar. So WHOS going to buy it ???

I'll think Ill wait a few years, when its re-advertised as the only signal orange RS1800 ever made :ykt::mrgreen:

I nearly spat my drink all over my laptop when I read this quote:

"On Irish plates, but former UK car showing 5861 miles on the clock which from the condition of the car I believe to be genuine"

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1980-Ford-Escort-Mk-2/332433738154?hash=item4d669849aa:g:RJ0AAOSwOtJZ3Rcv

I mean, are these cars being sold by utter cnuts, or do they just think we are cnuts ?????

I find this a bit disturbing. I hope he didnt troll this site to get the image given it was only posted here in the past week. I hope no one gets scammed by it and just gets a laugh from it.

Quite possibly, but the same pics are on the Turbo Sport, rally sport escorts forums and probably all over Faceache as well

Carefully removed back in the eighties and placed in safe storage, no longer have the car so not needed. Thought I would let someone else have the pleasure of owning genuine Ford parts to make that concourse resto complete. Will not end auction early.

Could make fortune selling gaps :P

Carefully removed back in the eighties and stored. No longer have the car so not needed. A must for any concourse RS resto as genuine ford parts and you don't find many of these especially a matching pair!!

I suspect this is another dubious listing.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Escort-Mk1/263277710001?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D49138%26meid%3Dea72ea3db57a4b218ea4e846ffdf9a37%26pid%3D100623%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D382248573295&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-1

He hasn't listed anything in years but the giveaway is that he is prepared to post to me in Australia. While I applaud him going to all that trouble as I cant even get a set of wheels let alone a whole car from the UK, I doubt Ebays global shipping program will be able to cope.

Im starting to think we need a new category created to post fake sales and listings.

All the money that we must use is fake it`s funny money , it`s paper with ink no value and in the future we most use the banksters digital fake money what they create in their computer and again less value , it`s all `` funny money `` gold and silver that the real value.

Hi! i was very interested, but you don't seem to mention what model this is....? after looking very hard (at the same rust spot), and at times seeing 3d dolphins and dinosaurs, i was hoping for a 2 or 4 door saloon, but i now see that this is a genuine 'State' model! sorry, no longer interested!
