Not if used correctly, the jack should go through both parts of the chassis and the car isn’t rotten lol

I have the original spare in, a retro space saver if you like, an this jack, winder and wheel brace came with the car, nice and low ( luckily) and seemingly very strong

I like the way the spare wheel is bolted into place. I havent seen that used in a Escort before. Only the strap type

It's a MK1 cortina, did things properly in '63 😂
