Hi all, the Plentii Sidewayze handle is an hereditary one from about 30 years ago, in the road rallying days, remember when you could pick up a cheap Escort drop a Pinto in and hoon around without too much trouble..... Anyway after many years I have resurrected my RS2000 "Project Lazarus" into the Escort I could never afford back in the day, not a lot of standard RS left though, silvertop Zetec, throttle bodies, type 9 box,LSD equipped Capri axle, 5 linked, Bilstiens all rouund, quick rack, electric power steering, all carried out by myself at home, hope to see a few of you all soon ish.... Regards, Andy

Welcome to OSF mate.

Look forward to seeing pics of the car and the progress

We all miss those days when the cars were cheap as chips and you didn't care how you drove it or where you left it. Getting producers from the old bill at least one a week and knowing the desk staff at the nick station... oh.... you again 🤣🤣

Welcome to OSF m8. We all remember the good old days, back in the 80's. Pick up a Mk1 with tax and test for £100, insure and off you go....Botch it through the next mot if you could, or weigh it in and go buy another! Get some pics up [emoji106]

Welcome to the forum Andy.

I remember those days too, my fist mk1 Escort was a 74 mk1 2 door I picked up for £60 in 85 or 86. Bargain compared to the bonkers money now
