Has there been a site update in the past 24 hours? Something has rendered my preferred web browser totally uesless and cant post anything?

This is the view I get. You cant add or type anything at the bottom of any thread.

Did you open an email originating from a Prince from Nigeria by any chance?

Not in a few weeks since my amazing lottery win. My money should be coming through any day now.

Yes, updated this morning.

Everything seems normal to me, though I haven't checked on a Web browser as yet, only on my phone

Darn I hate the other browsers and all my bookmarks and addons are on the my usual one. I can see having to open a second browser just to reply is going to get old very fast! LOL

Also All of the pop down menus have been rendered inoperable and if you press on the content / logout menu it will appear but you can never get it to go away again and freezes everything up.

Actually, I can't see the cars uptop either.

Which browser is it you're using that is giving problems?

Could see the cars up top before, but cannot see them now, just clouds.

Use Firefox, don't use a phone.

I use Palemoon which is a Firefox derivative that now I cant reply or post with.

Firefox does allow me to reply but cars still not visible

Google are deliberately slipping things into their code these days as most web designers seem to use it and then when other browsers wont work they tell you to switch to chrome. Its all part of their dominance first business model. I cant buy Merrell shoes anymore as I cant use their website. I can view the shoes but when I want to check out it glitches and Merrell themselves have simply told me to use Google Chrome if I want to buy their shoes, and said to them Im not installing the most insidious spy and tracking software on my computer just to buy their stupid shoes. Never heard back!

Hi @Rally Pack 2000 can you check your normal browser again please?

Still no ability to reply and no popdown menus but I can now see the cars with my original browser.

But now the Firefox browser that I am replying through now no longer has the cars where it was working just yesterday with this one?

I'm sorry James, I don't think there's anything more I can do. The forum software and theme software are both up to date. Can you try clearing your cache (if you haven't done so already)?

Sometimes a cookie-setting could prevent a page from loading completely.

I have my browsers set to delete all cache and cookies when I shut down the browser. Just a safety thing I have always done.

My main browser is now defunct it seems. I often reply on the fly when im doing other stuff so there will be a bit of a reduction in my posts as I have to open this one specially just to reply. At least im not cut off completely! (I heard those sighs thankyou!) 😀

I asked our forum guru if there was anything else we could do, I'm afraid his feedback was less than positive about your Palemoon browser. See below.

"Yea if he’s on some obscure browser, and still has the same problem, there is very little that can be done. Obviously the themes are made for all web standard browsers, but if someone takes the Firefox source code and makes their own browser without these standards, generally a lot of websites will have issues.

If he still has the same problem, best way is just to choose one of the many better browsers."

Version 4.7.9 of the operating software has just been issued @Rally Pack 2000 amongst the issues it lists as being addressed is the below, perhaps this will fix the issue you've been having?

I need to wait for an update to the forum theme software first before I can install the updated operating software though.

Fixed an issue where older browsers and iOS versions may not display editor/images.
