Day 3 of the NEC Classic Motor Show ends on many highs for Old Skool Ford and @Ray 1300E Owners Club. There were some lows too though with the sad loss of two long standing local club members though at the time we were remembering the fallen 😢
Once again we worked very hard to put on the very best show for visitors and I think we succeeded in doing that once again, given the comments from all who came to the stands.
Our special thanks go to Retro Ford Magazine Andy Ellis and John Waide who followed the clubs full journey to the show featuring all the cars and their stories. The full report will be in January's edition so make sure you get in on the action and take advantage of the special show offer of 14 mths for 12 and a free t-shirt using the code we gave out. Act quickly though as time is running out!
Our very special thanks go to Sarah Crabtree and Evoke Classics who helped us celebrate our 20th birthday and 15th time at the Classic Motor Show! 🍾 🥂 🎉
Thank you to our supplier visitors of Rally Design Ltd, Burton Power, Stuart Moore Abbeyfields Insurance , Lancaster Insurance Services and Rub A Dub Dub who provide products and services to members and want to improve how they can work with us.
It was great to see many friends visiting the stand so thank you to Stephanie Hirst and Clive Settle, Paul Kitson, Unofficial Yorkshire Classic Cars Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club, Yorkshire Retro Ford Club #YRFC members for all your support.
We caught up with OSF Club members too @GrahamU and @Jerrytom161, @Dave Knight@Xp197777. Good to see you all.
Finally thank you to the team, especially @Ray, and their cars👏 as without them there would be no club stand along with all the members of public who had so many nice things to say and engaged with us to share our passion for Fords!
NEC you need to capture the action in Hall 8 much more as we are often forgotten. Its the place to be!
Looking forward to 2025 🤞
Best wishes and happy motoring to all. YKT!

I agree it was a really good show  especially to celebrate  40 years of the classic car show itself and the 15th time OSF has been attending it too . Well  done  to the team for their time and dedication for setting up the stands and of course the wonderful collection of cars and van! . Stunning .
roll on 2025 .
see you next year .

Well done to all involved. I did have a look around the stand a few times over the weekend. Nice selection of cars.

Did we get to meet?

Richard is a  lovely guy  we met for the first time last weekend at the NEC after a number of years of  phone and text conversations  so it was really great to finally meet him and his Dad too .

Thank you for the kind comments. It was great to speak to Jerry Tom (Dave the Loom) Sean Forde & Ray. Vista Estate we didn't speak, but I did have a look at your estate.

You all did an amazing job and hopefully bigger and better next year.

Thanks
