Back again with another MK1. Sold my Le Mans green Mexico rep back at the end of 2017, have missed it ever since, had a MK2 1600 Sport with a spanker of an engine in it but now back and the proud owner of a genuine AVO 1973 RS2000. Would love to know if anyone has any previous history or information about it.

Hi all, and admin. Thanks for letting me join and being part of some Old Skool Ford chat I'm lucky enough to own an Anglia, that was purchased early this year. She's been modified quite a bit and will list full spec in another post. Thanks admins for sorting out my stickers, they finally went on 100% perfect, phew....and they finish off the rear window nicely.

Good news. The Estate passed its test. First time in 14 years almost. And because of timing, it actually got 14 months of test. Next time it needs to be tested, the car will be in Classic road tax bracket, a nice saving 😀 😀. To celebrate, I fitted the new wheel/ tyre combo. I think we are going to go British Racing Green over Cream wheels? They are just in primer atm. And, tomorrow I will be loading the car with heavy things, to decide the lowering rate. Springs are available in -40mm and -60mm (which I see myself going for). Anyway here is a pic of it after it's successes today on sexy rims😀😎

Hi Really glad I found this home for old Fords. I recently bought a 1961 hot rod, much modified with Pinto motor, twin 40s, Revolutions, lowered, and am enjoying the sunny weather. Hoping to get to some car shows and meet some other owners. anglia1961.a1 point

What coil overs are you using? What crossmember and rack? I am trying to suss out my Anglia and I really like the HiSpec brakes I added to my Escort so would like to have the same for the Anglia. I'm in the US so can't easily do the Milton exchange thing with Cortina legs.1 point

My 2 youngest and I went. As everyone was getting ready to leave the Show we went to video everything. Thought they were turning right, they went left. By the time we got turned around and through the traffic jam caused by everyone leaving, they had vanished, we never saw another car 😂 😂 Nice selection of cars, anything interesting is welcome not just Escorts. Running 711M, +90, Stage 3 Head reground ported and polished, Kent 234 Cam, Crank reground and balanced, lightened flywheel, ARP bolts, Vernier Duplex, Uprated Clutch, Type 9, Twin 40 Dellortos, Electric pump & Fuel pressure regulator, Oil cooler, Twin core alu rad, Catch Can, High Torque starter, lightweight compact alternator, LSD, "Hi Spec Motorsport" Aluminium Billet 4 Pot calipers (brilliant), Coilovers, .…..........and so on. I don't think there is any aftermarket ones in the UK, as you say 1 on ebay here for £20 i think id give that a try. If not, wait until I get back to work on Monday, I'll get a trade price from Ford , on a genuine one, and can post it to you.1 point
