with total espect Scott, you obviously have the money to keep throwing at your cars without worrying, im not saying that is wrong, in fact its nice to see your cars kept that way, and yes your right, they were designed to be driven, but you have to look at the other side of the coin, firstly, most of us dont have the money to keep throwing at them, we get one chance, and when you get into it that deep financially, trailer queens are often the result, not intentional, thats life, and in most instances, me included, we didnt start out the restoration to necesarily to either go that deep or expect to go that deep, again it becomes addictive and financially keeps the most poor, and thats why some people spend donkeys years doing their cars up, becuase they become that animal and financial pit most cant really afford, resulting in that frightened to drive condition
For me, the original question said it all, the questions asked, means to me, that there is not necesarily fortunes available to spend on it, if there was, the questions would never have been asked
