Places to view the track were limited and over crowded, the grandstand they set up was being charged another £15 to use. Spoke a friend of mine who was on the rescue unit and it was about how much money they could make. A local pasty firm was ready to donate 150 free pasties for the officials and marshalls but told to go away as the catering was being done by the owners friend. Even heard rumours that the MSA were having doubts that the venue was suitable or safe after about 10 cars all went off at same place. Another competitor slid on the grass all the way down a bank and into a parked trailer writing off his subaru.
