Burns Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 tell them to let you have free booze at the reception and call it even
Slik 50 Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 tell them to let you have free booze at the reception and call it even And your pic of the brides maids
Slik 50 Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 £50 sounds about right though. When we looked at hireing a car for the wedding, we got the cheepest quote of £140 that was to pic the wife up, Drive 10 miles to the regerstry office then drive 10 miles back Are you wearing a monkey suit aswell
MK5 Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 £50 min... its not just your time driving him to the church - what about all the hours you'll spend cleaning the car beforehand so it looks its best...

mk2phil Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 I'm willing to bet the groom will pull the honeymoon and spends the cash on a mk1 after he's been in it!!
ever88 Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 spread some love into this world and do it for nothing. If she insists then say either buy the wife some flowers or make a donation to a charity or OSF website. I hope I don't sound too bold with my next comment as what people have suggested cost wise seems fine but you would feel greater pleasure in offering what I suggest as you will make their day and could even be invited to a drink afterwards. You must have a nice motor to be asked! all the best Paul
Smudger105e Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 Don't like putting a dampner on things, but my Bro has a 1963 rolls silver something 3 (shadow id it, can't remeber) that he does weddings with from time to time, and he had to change his insurance cover because he was being paid to drive the people, if it was benefits in ind it would not have been a problem. Check your Policy that you can carry paying passengers.
