BaileyMex Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 On behalf of myself and the Admin team, I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all of you that jumped into your OSF this morning despite the weather being shite and coming with us to the Bromley Pageant We didnt let the weather spoil our day, I think we had around 33 cars on our display at one point If we got a pound for every photo that was taken of our cars today we would be minted, I think we definitley showed them how the Old Skool do it Thanks again Let us know if you want to do it again next year

JAY PS Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Nice to see you guys there braving the weather ,i think the autojumble stalls will always be crap ,too many stall holders have turned to ebay and online selling as they can get more money for there stuff I havent done bromley for two years and i can see a trend of new car clubs setting in ie Mitusubshi EVo club ,Ferrari club ,basically late cars with clubs sad but i used to see Bromley as great classic show with a wide varion of cars . Suppose youve got to remember some of the 60s cars are 40yrs old and each year some more drop into an unrepaired state . Great to see so many Ford based clubs there though

It's the people that make a great day even better The pub lunch was great, especially as the 1st pub wouldn't allow the under 21's But it worked out for the better because we went over the road and had a whole area just to ourselves

Linked up with a few of the OSF suspects... and met Tony (Petrolhead01 I believe) Had a good old rummage..... through the autojumble, then went off in search of the OSF stand only to find most had gone off to the pub! I managed to grab JohnnyH on his way out and recieved this comment... and I quote: Yo, what's happenin' me homie??? Lau that.... we as de OSF reprazentitive is Flip-Moding to da pub! Is you coming???? Lightwieghts all of ya I didn't leave till gone 5pm, I got there at 8:30am Even though it was raining, it was a great day out, and it was nice to link up with a few of you. If you have the stand next year, I will make sure I will be there with a car.... it does often help
