Whats the weight of a pinto...less flywheel, starter ect..?

 

Seemed heavier then i remember moving it yesterday.

Lol...no wonder i couldnt lift it then...

 

Got it half out the boot of the car and then got stuck...was just looking at it for about 15mins while it balanced half on my leg and half on the car!

i know what you mean m8, i picked up my zetec and lifted it onto the engine stand without a problem then when to try the same with one of my pinto's and nearly herniated myself :shock:

yeah heav old b@stards, try and lift an essex though.....

 

I once had a competion with a mate to see who could carry 2 xflows at the sme time the furthest with a scaffold pole 'milk maid' style 8) he won :oops:

Disagree there Vista..its more satisfying whooping larger engined car in a nicely put together xflow.....the only reason i'd buy a pinto is to anchor my boat :lol:..there are some wicked xflows out the ...fancy giving Fiesta Steve a race then Vista??

Got to agree with the two posts above,extra capacity doesnt mean its faster,i embaressed many a pinto on twin webers when i had my xflow and that was in a fiesta :thumbsup: dont matter what you start with,its how you build what you've got :wink:

pintos are heavy ive too tried lifting one couldnt believe the weight

I think a x-flow is only 10 kilos lighter than a pinto so don't get too exited :wink:

Has anyone got a x-flow handy to weigh then ? I can weigh a pinto saturday morning for you as there's one on the floor of my mates workshop :thumbsup:

I have a crossflow close to hand too.

 

It has no ancillaires (sp) but has a flywheel.

 

Won't be able to weigh it until Sunday though.

 

It would be nice to find out once and for all, and not just what people have heard.
