Waste of money i reckon

That's how I feel about strut braces, but lots of other people swear by them. I guess if you fit one and the car feels better to you then it's money well spent.

When I bought my Capri. One was already fitted to it. I took it off, and never noticed any difference at all

By taking it off, what it did do, was to make removing the bottom hose on the rad easier

:lol::lol: Yep , that's because they don't do fooooook all unless your wobbling around on 2 foot long soggy standard springs with knackered anti-roll bar bushes (which no one is)

My mk2 has got one, when your giving it the beans and you spot a copper comming towards you slam the brakes on,they look for signs of a car nose diving,it tells them you going to fast and gives em a reason to pull ya

i asked the very same question and chose to get one.

i personally noticed a huge difference from before! nose diving was reduced and it did tighten up the cornering and i got less nose dive.

well worth it i reckon

im taking mine off had it on their 4 years now the cars 3" lowered on the front running 250lbs springs the front dont dive no more any how. Plus they makes the car more unstable under hard braking in my opinion .

probably not really worth it too much on a road car, but on a hillclimb/sprint car or circuit car, it can only help surely. :?

And as for strength, i agree. I have taken out loads of metal for the rad to sit in it can only serve to strengthen the front end.
