Just something to put the feelers out really- but I was wondering if anybody would be interested in an OSF Auto-test??

The plan is to have a low key summer event on private land (which I own) with a series of timed tests running in the afternoon/evening. My uncle and I jave been running events like this over the past 10 years or so.

The venue is about 10 mins from Wrotham in Kent (J2 of M20)

If you are unsure as to what auto-testing is have a look at ignoring the cost section

OK well its great to hear some of you would be up for this!!!

Yeah agreed the map above is pretty complex!!! :D

We have had a number of formats in the past but it seems to work best as

- some 'simpler' tests with just a driver

- more complex tests with a navigator (passenger)

- finally two cars taking on each other in a head to head type test (obviously

not on the same circuit!!!).. bit difficult to explain!!

but obviously it all depends on numbers!!

Any more for any more????

OK cool, well it sounds like there is an interest for this sort of event thumbsup:

It would take place in a field.. Now before you all go  it is VERY flat and very tested, but I can fully understand people with concourse cars not wanting to do it as it will get dusty.

But on the plus side you wont have to bring tyres to drive home on!!!

I will have a look at dates (dodging round Ford fair, OSFDC etc) and let you all know preliminary dates.

Cheers

those little lines that i think would represent a wall between two barrels.... how soild are they....

how many people drive through them as whos used to breaking on a dusty field

sounds a good laught but i dont fancy driving through a wall :?

It'll be on grass mate, as you said much more forgiving in lots of ways!!

Definately no walls anywhere for people to crash or slide into!!

Had an email today from Classic Ford Mag and they said they would be interested in coming and doing an article on the day!!

Get those handbrakes dialed in guys!!! :D
