mk2dk Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 Hi Retroglam73. The wheels on that Capri are called TSW Catalunya. I have a set exactly like those on my other car
Retro-gone. Posted October 21, 2008 Author Report Posted October 21, 2008 looking good boys, keep em coming..
DanV Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 Sorry lads but none of the above really do it for me. Ive been looking for something modern thatd work cause ur kinda limited when it comes to classic wheel design but just cant seem to find anything that works for me. If anything i think a BBS or motorsport style wheel such as compomotives would be best. However im not ssure when it comes to the cappa. American muscle style wheels would look awesome
mk1mexico Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 My old mk2 with 8Jx17 wheels Never actually drove it wearing these wheels though. Runs a 2.8 V6 now and tarmac arches.
DAZZA Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 RST S1 15's...... But it was 1989 and there was no style really. God, What was I thinking.....
DanV Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 Wouldnt have thought they'd look too bad Dazza!?!
DAZZA Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 Wouldnt have thought they'd look too bad Dazza!?! At this angle it looks horrendous, but I had some 1 & 2 inch blocks welded up for a 3" drop with a stupid drop at the front, so it was kind of Touring car................ in my eyes anyway. Wow, just noticed me mates 2.8 Granny in front. PIMP.
surfingturnip Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 appologies to who ever this capper belongs to for using pics without asking, I dont have any from this angle of Tony's. also appologies for the shocking perspective on the rear wheel oh and the white in teh wheels, I'm doing this quite late and quite quickly rota cups rota rewinds
mk1super Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Alot of the yank muscle cars wear em an they look good, i always thought some black centred torque thrusts would suit your car retro
oldbus Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 My son has bought these 15´s for his Taunus(with his pocket money) Might try them out on the Capri first though..
