went looking at wheels today, saw these in Halfords and fell for them immediately, the kind mister even held one next to the capri for me to take a pic lol, what do ya all think?

the wheels in the pic are 17"", i want 15"" but they had none in stock..

got no pics but i put some 13" pug steels on the mk2 esc est today, because they all had good 175/70's tyres and cost £40 for 4 :) the original minstral rims centre cap even fitted on them :) they have '97 stamped on them.

Dug those wheels out of the cellar last night but theres no name on them...so answers on a postcard to........... :wink:

Has any one considered wheels from the vw scene ATS cups or ronal turbo's would suit the classic come modern look

iv looked into these but you cant seem to get the right stud patern :(

aswell as them nearly all being fxd the offset's are well off :(

most of the stuff thats big in the dub scene is only available in a 4x100 pcd, ie for v dubs and certain audis I believe, trust me I've looked. Its worth checking ebay and ebay.de from time to time though as they do occasionally crop up in a ford pcd :thumbsup:

you wont even notice! because the wheel has a larger diametre it has further to turn before it makes a full rotation. that is all. it only really matter in cars were every milisecond counts on say, a lap time. as they are wider you will get more grip as you have more contact on the ground, and this means a faster pull away.

 

so its up to debate really...
