Hmmm, how much extra value does it add to a car to be able to say 'as seen on TV' It was used in a number of positions, here's a sneaky photo of one of them (we were not officially allowed to take photos, but I was allowed to take one or two)

JAY PS Posted May 26, 2009 Report Posted May 26, 2009 Omg just seen that Rays car is a Granada 2.8i injection ,some great shots of it tonight ,im sure that car was one doing the show circuit some years back ,owned by a girl and her fella (forget her name) . Anyone shed any light on whose car it is now ,or even if she still owns it . Its wearing false plates ,the car im thinking of is A6**XRD Im sure the prices for these cars with soar ,just as well as my black one was used in Love Hurts some years back

The granny was supplied by a mate of the main securoty bloke (also a Mk2 granny owner) on long term loan. I did hear they didn't charge for use of the car. The only thing I don't like about it is the wheels, I am told they are a sport edition that weren't out till the vary last. It would have been mine, but mine had a tantrum before the day of the shoot, and only got back on the road the first day of the character shoot. Looking forward to the last one next week, it's me armoured van and me LWB. The SWB and the Daimler was on last night.

FredTransit Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 surprise surprise the meastro van is not mine (and if it was it wouldn't have clear indicators)! Monday was just the SWB van and the Daimler. I watched it on iplayer and was dismayed to find they didn't even change the Y plate . I wasn't there, it was only the second time I had done 'dry hire', the first being the Daimler!
