Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 29, 2009 Author Admin Report Posted September 29, 2009 To use your term "staff" Rog, then yes, we are talking Admin AND mods as we all do the same thing on here and that is to moderate the site and ensure that everyone is behaving in a manner that is acceptable to the majority I'm sorry if we have seemed distant to some but I hope that you will have the courage to come over and say hello at any one of the meets regardless of who we are standing with at the time ...... we love putting names to faces and no-one person is more important than another

Surely as owner and creater of this forum that is OSF i thought he would have added his comments to this thread........ ..... btw , nice to see some good and bad points being put across I'm here just had a few probs . As for this post there is some good points and some shit. My thoughts are if people don't like the way its run then DO one don't come on here quite simple really. I think the rules on here a Liam compared to some sites. And all forums are only what the members make it. The majority of members that are on here enjoy osf's and like interacting with others which have the same interests. i,m not sure about the rules being Liam !!, who is Liam anyway ??

garyv6100e Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I agree that Admin and Mods wearing a "staff" jacket would give people the wrong idea but why not post some pictures of the admin team on the "who are the admin team" tread at the top of the chit chat page so that those of a shy disposition will be able to regonise them ie at cf and boxhill etc

I don't post often, and mostly bollox, and my Escort will probably not hit the tarmac for years due to my health, but even as a cave dwelling northern trogledyte I've not been made unwelcome, and anyway I big and ugly enough not to give a flying one. I work on the FIFO principle.

Jiffer Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Hi Doc Classic Ford (to use your example) had the largest ever attendance by OSF and the huge BBQ that Chris did for us i remember cooking the odd sausage or two. cfs was my 1st ever show and i'm sorry to say i've not made it to any of the meets yet but work wont allow it (the building game is a game and as most of mine is done at schools and colleges summer is my silly season and got to take it when i can) so far ive met some very decent people and been given lots of advice which i rely on a great deal. i'm sad i wasn't there at the start of osf but know that in the future i'm going to make some new friends and have a bloody good laugh
