Cheers guys.

Yes, they are 15x8 compomotives. The axle is a 52" atlas and the offset of the wheels is ET 11.

Hope it helps

Lol,

i wanted some powerfull brakes though so i thought i'd use 15's.

I'm glad i did though as i am well chuffed with how they look!

If i was to go to 13's i would of had to have shortened the axle as it would only look right with 9's or 10's on it.

These are bang on and i'm well chuffed!

I just need a spare set for slicks for track days etc.

but what about the handling? the escorts roll centre was designed around 13" wheels  thats why they got rid of 12" and used 13" on all the orignal top rally escorts. rolling on 13s is the way forward  .

I know what your saying Wayne, but there are some really well handling escorts out there on 15's.

15's should be ok, its the 16's that were on it before that would give probs.

The low profile tyres are the same rolling radius as 13's on baloon tyres anyway.

Besides, back in the day, 15" wheels weren't available! If they were im sure Ford would have used them to fit bigger brakes????
