While i have been off work with a broken foot a mate of mine lent me a set of dvd's that chronicle the first world war, it was made in 1964 and called The Great War, haveing watched it all the way through and seen the unthinkable horror that our boys had to put up with, not being able to wash for weeks on end, no food to eat, liveing in shell holes for days on end with the bodys of your mates lying around it makes me sick that pricks that for the most part shouldnt be here in the first place would do something like that. 7 members of my famely didnt die in 2 world wars for cocks like that to defile there memory. Now, i dont claim to know the politics or implecations behind most of the wars including the one going on right now, but i can see thier point of view from some respects. Have a good read of the website, they are angry about the British military (and others) carpet bombing and destroying towns and villages in thier 'homeland'.

The reason that such tactics are used against the taliban is because the taliban troops are cowards. They hide in schools with thier mortars on the roof knowing full well that we would never strike a school with a shell.

They would mortar our positions from crowded areas, knowing full well that we would not retaliate in fear that we would hit innocent civilians.

 

Ok, that said, the scum need to piss off now. You can have your opinion but when your guests in someones house, you dont critisize the food.

Usually I dismiss the rantings of the Daily Mail as fascist tripe, but I don't think they can of put any racist spin on "British Soldiers Burn in Hell" and the burning of a big poppy. How has it come to this? What a ridiculous state of affairs this is, can you imagine someone doing this 50 years ago? Thats a very good point mate .A few months back there was a token "muslim/islam against violence" public meeting in uk somewhere.The only people who turned up were all women,young children up to old dears.The men and boys were know where to be seen .I see in the press spokespersons for various muslim groups stating that the poppie burners are not representetive of all muslims.If so then they should take direct action against them.Oh look theres a pig flying over OSF land !!!!!!!!!!!.No offence intended but then again i dont give a f**k .

Trouble is there is not a credible political party that will support the many thousands of dissafected genuine british peoples views.Labour,liberal and tory partys are all left or centre left leaning,and the only right wing partys around are not electable .The only party with a proper structure is the BNP and many people wont give them a chance as they have quite a few extreme nutters attached to them .I challenge any one to read their manifesto and then say they dont agree with quite a few of their policies.Not many people can honestly say they agree with all the policies of whichever party they vote for.

Yes it is wrong, they should have been arrested for burning the poppies, and people are correct in pointing out that if it was the white populous instigating a similar act the authorities would be much quicker in dealing with it, and yes if you're not happy here you should leave, but if anyone has seen the Retards Club groups already set up (which i feel bad for now inadvertently promoting), already show this country has gone to the dogs. The racist 'round them all up' attitude aimed at all muslims is a disgrace, and if so many people are willing to hop on the bandwagon it just shows how floored this countries education system is. Multi-culturalism clearly hasn't worked which is a great shame, but the quantity of narrow minded, uneducated bigots is so vast I feel the future really is rather bleak. Good to see that not all OSF readers subscribe to the idea of rounding up non whites and deporting them. Most of your points of view I largely agree with...............though I do think that the minority of trouble makers that hide within the muslim community SHOULD in fact be deported and without years of legal wrangling. I'm not sure what we'd do with the home grown trouble makers however.

 

The problem I see with some of the suggestions in previous posts is that once you've set the precedent of kicking out the people you don't like (without legal recourse) who's next in the firing line? We will have already established that it's ok to punish people for not sharing the mainstream views so what's next? Death penalty for capital crimes? ok done. After that? Flogging for petty crimes? and so on and so on. ...........

I AM angry, no-one said you / we don't have a right to be angry. I'm an ex serviceman myself so Remembrance Sunday and the wearing of poppies certainly has meaning for me.............however I won't be angry with an entire race or religion simply because a hateful few choose to abuse the freedom they enjoy here.
