thanks for the comments guys, the car was bought with a v8 in it back in april 03 but my dad blew the engine after 5 days, we bought another engine with same bhp and in july 06 we raced it at santa pod and ran a 13.99@ 98.99 mph, but a year before that we ran a 13.39@ 108.97 mph with a 3.27 diff, we then removed that engine in 08 due to piston ring failure and to rebuild would have bin over 3k so we found another 351w with same bhp for £1800 so we bought that and sold the other engine as spares, then totaly rebuilt the front end with new poly bushes, all suspension arms and subframe powder coated and new discs and brake lines the lot and then put the engine in so to answer you question in regards to install, yes and no, the original v8 was installed by a guy in surrey who first owned the car called ian, he done all the bracket work, mounts, sump, gearbox the lot, he also pro streeted it but didnt like it so he put it back to standard irs and resprayed it ford royal blue.

Remember that car well ,im sure one of my dads mates owned this in the kingston area before it was v8 engined in the 80s

I do have some pictures somewhere at a show in early 90s and it was in street machine once or twice doing runs up at the pod

Last time i saw it ,it was stripped for paint ,i assumed it had never been put back on the road as it sat for years in a salt barn in the local council depot

Well done luvvin the mk1
