I was looking at buying a new one for the Wife upon release but the entry level V8 was 36k! Think I'll wait for a couple of years and buy a used one.

I think that philosophy applies to every new car Dave. I bought my car as the 2nd Owner at 3 years and 1 month old. The first Owner had taken an eye watering £24k (possibly more if he traded it in) in depreciation and the car had still only done 25k miles.

Not going for HIS and HERS then smoke em ?

Lol, I don't really need a car Colin as Shell does all the driving. (Hence, MY daily is a 350bhp V8 Merc Coupe )

Agreed. That being said, I'll probably wait until a good used low miles car hits the 20k mark as I can't justify spending more for the 6-7k miles a year that Michelle does.

You're all being too unkind, a big CC RWD V8 with lots of grunt and aggressive but cool looks to boot. In what way does that resemble a Titty or Focus? Can't see it myself

Pah, purely superficial resemblance  :nerner:  :nerner:  :wiggle:  :wiggle:

I recall Clarkson once saying that the Capri rear 1/4 window resembled that fitted on a 911. Even if he was right does that make a 2.8i capri a 911 clone? No.

Well it could be why the Capri is also known as a poor mans Porsche...........
