Aircon was a vent at the front you opened with your foot.

My first car was a Mk1 Bongo! It was just as much of a steamer as air-cooled camper in the heat! Aircon was a vent at the front you opened with your foot. If im going to put the kettle on I may just as well trip in the Twincam in Summer! LOL

I remember tales of your mis-spent youth in a Bongo, mine was a 1995 Japanese import model.

Actually I feel I was more productive in my youth, these days seem to be wasted achieving very little. Time is flying by and nothing seems to happen or do I get anything done. Misspent adulthood. We never got he Bongo after the Mk1, which is funny as thats the model you never got!

I don't think we got the Bongo full stop. The ones here are all grey imports from Japan.

What actually is that?

It an old Russian locomotive that has had its chassis widened to accept an individually driven wheel system. I think it was created as some post nuke apocalyptic family camper.

Probably a locomotive top half, a load of Russian tractor axles, an asthmatic diesel and all held together with bailing wire - at a guess LOL!

I wasn't sure what a MLRS Uragan chassis was but it sure looks like the image you have posted at least in configuration.

That's a MAN SVR Recovery truck. Atlas crane and twin Roetzler winches. Beast of a truck. Pulled some crews out with those.

Same winch system fitted in new Atlas recovery van 😁. 50T pull capacity at 2:1 with earth anchor dug in.

MLRS is basically a mobile rocket launcher. Multiple Launch Rocket System.

British ones are tracked, but the Russian BM30s were wheeled, so could be that chassis base.
